10.04.2024 The National Guarantee Fund will act as the guarantor under a new programme of BDB Leasing for financing small and medium-sized businesses

The National Guarantee Fund and BDB Leasing, part of the Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) group, are launching a joint programme for leasing financing to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) under reduced conditions.

Thanks to the NGF guarantee, the companies will be able to take advantage of leasing for the purchase of machines and equipment with 5% deductible, as well as vehicles and real estate with 0% deductible. The repayment period is up to 8 years.

The leasing financing has a ceiling of up to BGN 1.5 million.

The new programme of BDB Leasing enables the purchase of both new and used production equipment, construction and agricultural machinery, vehicles, as well as medical equipment and real estate for business purposes.

The programme expands the opportunities for the implementation of innovations by Bulgarian companies and provides additional liquidity to the lessees through reduced requirements for deductible and longer repayment periods. The goal is to facilitate access to finance for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and encourage companies to modernize their production facilities.

The deadline to apply under the programme is until the end of 2025.
