Modern equipment brings pleasure to the work of farm in Targovishte

We find Donka and Boncho Vladimirovi in the Targovishte village of Saedinenie. They have purchased six new tillage machines with a loan of BGN 500,000 under Measure 121 of the Rural Development Program and a guarantee from the National Guarantee Fund (NGF).

"We have 800 decares of our own land, we cultivate it ourselves, and I think that in two years we will be able to repay the loan," Boncho Vladimirov said.

"I am competitive with the new machines. It is a pleasure to work. Good grapes give good wine, good flour gives good bread, and good machines cultivate the land better, yields are higher. I am 65 years old now and with this modern equipment I could work up to 85, if I am in good health ", the farmer boasts.

Boncho and Donka are unanimous that the terms of the loan are of key importance. "There have been times we paid 12-13% interest, but with this loan we pay 6.95%," they say.

Donka Vladimirova explains that with the guarantee from NGF the equipment purchased was sufficient collateral for the loan, which suits them perfectly.
